To any of you who may not have gotten their hands on the novel to read yet, you can check out from this video I found playing out the whole comic's story. Share your opinions, if you'd like, after watching the whole comic, in the commets below.
I know they're currently trying to continue the series via comics but tbh not too confident in them despite the sequel "Fair Game" considering how the first ended with having Danny relive his secret double life again as well as having his parents forget his revelation again and regained their hostile view on ghosts. And from what I reviewed from the first three pages in the sneak peek preview for the sequel comic, I'm rather conflicted if Danielle will even get adopted into the family by the end of it. Not to mention a number of Nick classics currently haven gotten a comeback or planned comeback to the spotlight. iCarly has already gotten a comeback in a series taking place a few years after the end of the original series from its first five seasons and currently rumored being planned a conclusion via a movie after the reboot series ended. Fairly OddParents has also gotten a comeback via a new series taking place years after Timmy Turner. Also rumors have that Jimmy Neutron is being planned a comeback via a new movie and a cast member from Victorious being planned a return to the spotlight via a spin-off series taking place after the events of the original series years later like iCarly did. I mean if they’re giving those Nick classics a return to the spotlight on TV or any live streaming services why not Danny and his pals. I mean I feel there are many opportunites they could've done if they had given us a revival and hadn't have Danny relive his secret double life again like:
See episodes showing how Danny learns to adapt to his non-secret double life after becoming a public hero after “Phantom Planet”
A new and better Christmas special involving Danny giving Danielle a special first Christmas while also having Danny’s parents finally learn to change better not only on their hostile views on ghosts more, but also on learning to be better parents through Danny’s giving Danielle a true Christmas tradition.
A new episode that has Sam gain better character development (to make up for the way she was portrayed in "Control Freaks”, “Memory Blank” and “Double Cross My Heart”) say it involves her saving Danny’s life from a deadly poison meant to kill ghosts made by the Guys in White or perhaps a new human enemy and after she saved him, while going through a montage of her negative moments on the times she didn’t act as a better “friend” to Danny in “Double Cross My Heart”, “Control Freaks”, and “Memory Blank”, she finally starts admitting her past faults to him while also deeply apologizing for moments she broke his heart too hard or acted rash on him too harshly in her hypocritical moments. And in the end she makes a vow that she really start changing better in being Danny's friend/girlfriend due to her hypocritical attitude nearly costed her into losing Danny forever.
See some sibling relationship moments between Danny, Danielle (after getting adopted into the family as she was planned ages ago had the show continued), and Jazz.
Having the Guys in White serve as the main antagonistic faction of a first new season of the series, where say during Danny’s new non-secret life, the Guys in White still maintain their hostile view on him, but since he’s a public hero now, they can’t publicly hunt and arrest him anymore otherwise, they’ll give themselves a bad reputation for trying to arrest and kill a public hero. So they seek to capture him through secret illegal means in order to put him through their secret, illegal, and extreme experiments on trying to exterminate all ghosts making it Danny and his pals’ goal to finally bring their corrupt and extreme operations down for good. And perhaps have them try targeting Danielle too for same corrupt reasons too, on say an episode where she gets adopted into Danny's family say not only she wishes to be part of a family but also say the Guys in White discover her existence and try to hunt and capture her for their corrupt experiments.
See how Sam's parents even handle on learning being half-ghost after "Phantom Planet" and currently together with Sam.
Have Danny’s parents gain new perspectives on ghosts due to Danny and upon adopting Danielle, had it happened during his non-secret double life, and from meeting and befriending Danny’s ghostly allies if he introduces to them.
Hear Ember sing us new rock songs of her, I mean it be a downer if she were to comeback in a comic only we can’t hear her sing again in her rocking musical schemes.
Get new songs sung by Danny and his pals as the series only had 2 two popular songs sung by Ember in its original run.
Perhaps episodes setting up for an animated movie version of the first novel where it serves as a finale for a second new season of the series where Danny would ultimately defeat and redeem Dark Danny for good with aid of his friends, family, including Danielle, Valerie, all his ghostly allies, and most of his lesser evil ghostly foes, including Vlad who redemption plays out differently from the first novel and done much better. Also perhaps have Dark Danny team-up with Danny's more dangerous or less reedamble foes such as Undergrowth, Vortex, Nocturne, Prince Aragon, and Fright Knight.
I mean I doubt the comics would recall those said episodes or give us these sorta ideas in the storyline considering the comics are going to be focusing on having Danny using his knew knowledge on ghosts after "A Glitch in Time" and it might take who knows how many novels till he finds the opportunity to tell his parents his alter-ego again. So to all you Phantom fans who are still eager to see this Nick classic series get its comeback in the spotlight on any streaming services and see something like this happen possibly in new seasons, can help further the chances via signing and sharing out the “Bring Back Danny Phantom” petition now. I just checked out the sneak preview for the first three pages of the next novel "Fair Game" that came out about 2 months. While I'll admit that it ain't a bad start and while I'm happy Danielle is coming back in "Fair Game", the pages kinda makes me conflicted if she'll even be adopted in the end for various reasons.
Considering the first novel had Danny relive his secret double life again and have his parents forget his revelation, I'm rather conflicted if the next novel will even have him introduce Danielle to them anytime soon since I highly doubt Danny would want her to live in his secret double life and being endangered of being blasted or obliterated by his parents when it comes to their hardcore hostile approach on ghosts or by other ghost hunters. Especially since she's still just a pre-teen kid.
The first three pages, considering its demonstrating from what that oaf of a mayor is planning to turn Amity Park into a full Ghost Hunting city, after Danny made his choice to relive his secret double life and made the world, even his parents, forget his revelation again, I'm doubtful if Danielle will even stay in Amity Park this time for it's now rather unsafe for a kid like her to even join and help Danny and his pals when she "goes ghost".
Plus with Danny's parents forgetting his revelation as a half-ghost again and regaining their hostile view on all ghosts I don't even know how Danny can even convince his parents to adopt Danielle in the end. I mean I would be disappointed if she'll still have to continue being referred to as his "cousin" and not his and Jazz's new little sister as she was planned to be ages ago had the series continued after Season 3.

I know they're trying to continue the show's story via novels, although tbh, not entirely confident with comics considering with how long they took to make the next novel being release for this year after the first one. Not to mention how many opportunites were blown when they decided to try continue the series via comics, aside from Danielle becoming adopted into Danny's family and become part of his team:

Perhaps having the Guys in White serve as the main antagonist of the first new season of the series where say they maintain their hostile view on Danny, but after he become a worldwide hero to the world, they no longer can legally arrest him otherwise they risk giving themselves a bad reputation, so they seek to continue hunting him via secret illegal means, leading it up to Danny and his pals to bring their operations to a complete shutdown for good.
Have Sam develop some better character development via say another episode where her somewhat hypocritical actions get Danny into trouble again only this time his life is put at stake and she (along with maybe Jazz, Danielle or both). is the only one who the best hope at saving him. Then after resolving the matter she finally starts to let go of her pride via finally admitting her faults, give Danny a much proper apology and learn to become a much better friend/girlfriend for Danny.
Also see perhaps Danny and his pals teach his parents on developing a new pespective on ghosts in his non-secret double life via both him and Danielle.
Plus, perhaps considering idea of possible redemption for Dark Danny and also perhaps better redemption story for Vlad, they give us an animated movie version of the first novel, only it be involving Danny, his pals, family (including Danielle), Valerie, all his ghostly allies, his lesser evil ghostly foes (including Vlad), defeat and redeem Dark Danny a different way. As for Vlad perhaps have him get redemption in a step by step path, 'cause I feel his redemption was rushed in the first novel.
