Even if they fired Dan Schenider in 2017,Nick never learned not to insert foot fetishes in it’s movies and shows and they managed to put a bunch of foot fetish jokes in 2 recent Nickelodeon movies last year based off it’s shows:The Loud House and SpongeBob SquarePants,No Time To Spy and Saving Bikini Bottom:The Sandy Cheeks Movie. WTF was Nick thinking after they got rid of one of their biggest problems by firing Dan,these is gross and highely inappropriate,even for kids movies.

Do you think with the Paramount/Skydance merger and the 4th SpongeBob Movie and Plankton:The Movie being the best things to come out of SpongeBob since SpongeBob's Big Birthday Bash,do you think Nickelodeon needs to start treating SpongeBob like normal again,find a way to end the show perfectly and in peace and lead up to the first movie,return to Steven Hillenburg's vision, and not treat it like their personal cashcow anymore,and give other cartoons like Wylde Park,A New Wish,Big Nate,Rugrats(2021), and Rock,Paper,Scissors a chance, cancel The Loud House with a timeskip finale, and revive a few more Nicktoons in reboots and movies like they did with Rocko,Zim,and Arnold in the late 2010's and the Rugrats and Fairly OddParents in the early 2020's. I just want Nickelodeon to go back to it's original glory and have it's own renaissance as well,along with reviving the Nicktoons movie with Paramount Pictures.

Regarding what Cartoonshi said, I don’t think the newer episodes of SpongeBob weren‘t all that bad,since Seasons 6-9a was the worst era in all of SpongeBob,until after the second movie,Stephen Hillenburg returned to the show and improved it again in 9a,but I feel recently since Steven Hillenburg’s death is probably the point where after SpongeBob became great again for a few years,it really went downhill and has now officially became a corporate product by Nickelodeon(I understand they want SpongeBob to be alive just it stay relevant and use it as a goldmine,but should’ve never let it take up the hour time slots and not continue to screw more cartoon shows and kill them off earlier cause they’re aren’t on the level as SpongeBob)by having the episodes rely on nonsensical/fantastical plots,the characters were dumbed down for jokes,and most of the post-Hillenburg era episodes of SpongeBob now rely on nostagia bait and amped up the show’s lack of logic and inconsistencie to 11 here by retconning everything and even Nick managed to milk SpongeBob even worse than they did before Hillenburg came back with spin-offs(Kamp Koral and The Patrick Star Show) and movies focusing on Sandy and Plankton. While Nick gotten more infamous now for milking SpongeBob to the point the show can’t catch a break and die and the controversies they got from Quiet on Set(along with considering 2020 to be the year Nickelodeon has died on me).

I feel if Kamp Koral and The Patrick Show was the point the show lost it’s nautical charm and quality again and started retconning everything the show has established,going against Hillenburg’s Wishes,I feel Saving Bikini Bottom:The Sandy Cheeks Movie was truely the lowest point in all of SpongeBob and the true point the show has really overstayed it’s welcome, spat on Hillenburg’s grave(even worse than Seasons 13-14 and the spin-offs did)let itself go,became dying of old age,and lost all of it’s quality and went against the show was really about,making me wish the spin-offs never existed if Nick was more competent and became more self-aware of their mistakes in the past and not milk the Sponge forever by respecting Hillenburg’s wishes if Cyra Zhargami never became president of Nick in 2006.

If people think and hate Sponge On The Run is worse,at least the movie,in spite of the Kamp Koral flashbacks,was more of a decent mixed bag for me,than this movie is just ten times worse than SotR in levels of childish,idiotic writing,one-dimensional characters,there is so much yelling,screaming,yapping,and annoying sound effects without hardly a brief pause(kinda like The Magic Voyage and A Troll in Central Park),stereotypes and cliches(something Nick was guilty of making),having gross-out,frightening,and creepy scenes,a boring villian and her bumbling lackeys are just don’t know how to act,the animation while alright,is just a huge step-down from the movie,and the movie just feels more weird and just acts more like a generic rescue movie.

The movie centers around Sandy Cheeks,who along with SpongeBob goes on a rescue journey to Sandy’s home state of Texas to rescue Bikini Bottom and it’s inhabitants,who have been scooped up by B.O.O.T.S.(I really hated how they retconned the company,which was originally called Treedome Enterprises,with a staff full of monkeys,who originally sent Sandy down to Bikini Bottom to study undersea life,which I feel Sandy is kinda like a female insert of Stephen Hillenburg),a science lab Sandy worked for in Texas,which is now a corporation with nefarious schemes with a water park at the front and headed by a new CEO,Sue Nahmee,which during their journey,they even reunited with Sandy’s family,who is a traveling circus act,who enlist their help in journeying to the laboratory to save Bikini Bottom before the CEO attempts to modify them into air breathers,clone them, and sell them as toy pets due to her obsession with sea creatures(I find Sue to be a watered down idiotic version of The Cyclops from the first movie,since while the Cyclops motivations and purpose were much more sinister and terrifying than Sue’s,since he tends to turn marine life by drying them up to death and turn them into knick-knacks for his gift shop,Shell City,the place Plankton took Neptune’s crown to in the first place,but here,Sue just feels a completely dumb villian who pales in comparison to The Cyclops from the first movie since her personality is just completely and motivations for turning sea creatures into sea pets due to her love for sea life) and her dimwitted henchman don’t really act and tend to throw in unfunny lines and jokes for no reason. Also,her backstory on her motivations,like seriously,they really made it uncomfortably creepy here by photoshopping and keyframing Sue’s head over a child’s body(seriously,why can’t they use an actual child actress and make it looks like Sue instead of this Face Raiders nightmare effect)and the climax where she reveals herself to be a cyborg just came out of nowwhere with no explanation and she just also possesses the mutant fish for no reason as well after landing in it. Also,speaking of which,the scene with the Pug was pretty dumb in a funny way and her motivation of turning Bikini Bottom into sea pets was kinda like the crew was poking fun at Nickelodeon’s exploitation and abuse of the SpongeBob franchise,but this meta-joke and Quiet on Set controversy wasn’t enough to spite the company and it’s exploitation of the show and don’t get me started on the creepy scene of SpongeBob’s tickling people’s feet in the pool(which kinda gave me Dan Schnieder vibes and I feel Fry Cook Games did the feet joke better by having Patrick lick SpongeBob’s feet during their fight).

I would say the movie’s plot is just weird,cliche, and uninteresting since it doesn’t do anything with Sandy’s character by giving her a character arc or exploring her past and family when she fills the role of a protagonist with no arc and the whole saving Bikini Bottom thing was already done to death twice in The SpongeBob Musical and Sandy,SpongeBob,and The Worm(even if Sandy and SpongeBob saved everyone from the worm,unfortunately the town and everyone got crushed by it at the end ,at least it’s actually just played for comedy).

The live-action acting is just on complete levels of modern Nickelodeon sitcoms here since Wanda Sykes tends to ham up her performance as Sue and make it over the top as possible and her bumbling lackeys just tend to throw in unfunny lines and act like they don’t know how to act.(even the live actors in the first three movies,at least they knew how to act and did their performances very well and had fun with it.)

Also,they’re are too many gross,fetish,and creepy scenes in the movie such as one of the rattlesnakes(who look like they’re descendants of Rattlesnake Jake from Rango)biting Sandy and swelling up like a ballloon,one of the scientists pressing their face against the glass and frightening Mr. Krabs.SpongeBob tickling people’s feet in the pool,and the scenes with the Pug(Ugh!). Also,the live action scenes really come off as nightmarish here,at least the frightening and nightmarish scenes in the OG movie(such as The Cyclops,SpongeBob and Patrick’s encounters with Dennis,the frog fish lady disguised as a ice cream woman,the Thug Tug scene,the Trench,Plankton being more of a threat than before,the Planktopolis scene,the sea creatures being kidnapped and turned into Knick knacks,and even King Neptune,whenever outside of his comical moments and bald joke,he can be pretty menacing whenever he is really angry and willing to unleash his wrath on others),were way more entertaining and thrilling compared to this and done ten times better with horror,action,acting,well-orchestrated music,camera angles,cinematography, and amazing colors. Also,there is a error at the end of the movie cause after Sandy saves Bikini Bottom by launching it out of Texas and into space and lands back in the ocean,Sandy and her family don’t drown to death quickly after landing underwater.

For the characters,outside of Sandy,for SpongeBob,he just feels pointless and serves no purpose outside of making jokes such as corny one-liners,being a creep and weirdo(mostly the pool tickling feet scene and the scene where he smells a big pile of manure is just disgusting and gave me Disney’s Pinocchio remake vibes),laughing every moment of dialogue,screaming like a maniac at times,hardly shows any sympathy when others are upset(even for Sandy),and even his characterization in the movie is definitely on Seasons 6-7 levels of annoyance and irritating here.

For Sandy’s family,who is a traveling circus act,I feel their characters could’ve been handled and executed better if the show did a episode about Sandy meeting her family when they arrive in Bikini Bottom earlier instead of this,while I do appreciate her family and past life as a way to expand Sandy’s character and backstory,such as how she used to be part of her family traveling circus,but the movie just fails to make these moments matter to what the movie or Sandy Cheeks,which is why I said earleir,they could’ve done this as a special of the show instead of making it part of a movie,along with the message of who do you consider to be your family and SpongeBob summoning Sandy’s family with a whistle to save everyone was just tacked on from the last minute.

For Patrick,Squidward,Mr. Krabs,and the others rarely show up and are only presented with the villians intentions of Bikini Bottom and being tormented as sea toys by the kids and I already explained a lot about Sue and her lackeys.

Having a movie focused on Sandy could’ve been better and well-executed if it was a TV movie instead of a Netflix movie. Not only this movie was bad and truely the movie that makes Sponge On The Run look better in comparision,it’s also one of the worst animated things to ever come out of Netflix(next to 2022’s Marmaduke and Megamind Vs. The Doom Syndicate)and probably the worst moment in the SpongeBob franchise,while Stephen Hillenburg’s death in 2018,the spin-offs and Season 13 was the point SpongeBob became stale and on nostagia bait now and even after 25 years,it’s become oversaturated,abused,tiresome,and now a dying franchise and corporate product now. Saving Bikini Bottom really sped up things and made them worse than before due to the movie being a terrible lost cause,a story that barely knows it’s existence,weak,poor animation,most of the characters not contributing anything to the story,and having unfunny jokes.

Now because of this,I feel the SpongeBob franchise reached its breaking point now and needs to die already and have an end point since he’s been on for so long and needs to be put to rest,I understand he is Nickelodoen’s goldmine,but Nickelodeon needs to put the sponge to rest if they get a chance in the future and find other shows that might be profitable for the network. At least as still I’m looking forward to the fourth SpongeBob movie,the Search For SquarePants next year,Nick needs to find a way to end SpongeBob by continuing it for a few years or make the series great again like make a prequel to the first movie by having SpongeBob and Patrick visiting the King Neptune from the movie and his daughter,Mindy or yet(which was my idea,even if the show never wanted to do crossovers,but I feel the show’s crew need to rebel against Nick by breaking the rule ),have a idea for a massive SpongeBob x NickToons crossover in which Sandy creates a massive interdimensional portal that causes a malfunction and creates time holes in the worlds and bring a huge array of Nicktoon characters into the world of Bikini Bottom(which the upcoming CN x Jellystone! crossover gave me this idea and the crossover would not only spite Nickelodeon,it’s past mistakes, and for it’s exploitation and oversaturation of SpongeBob as a series,but as payback and as a huge meta commentary towards them for screwing over shows that aren’t as popular or on the same level as SpongeBob and giving them the Nicktoons death treatment,not all of them since all Nicktoons before SpongeBob and after SpongeBob before 2005(along with TMNT,Garfield,and Loud House) were on the same level as SB and had a good run,by putting all the Nicktoons against the gang of Bikini Bottom and play and interact with each other very well).
