The 18th Annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards were held on April 2, 2005 at the Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles, California. Ben Stiller hosted the ceremony, which was watched by over 5.2 million people.
The telecast was preceded by the premiere of the Fairly OddParents episode "Blondas Have More Fun!" / "The Five Days of FLARG", and was followed by the premiere of the Drake & Josh episode "The Drake & Josh Inn".

- Will Ferrell - After winning a (rigged) soccer target practice contest against Mia Hamm, Will is given a Gatorade shower-style sliming.
- Johnny Depp - Slimed at the end of the show by pulling a lever that was supposed to slime Ben, but ended up getting Depp slimed instead.
- Ben Stiller - When Depp pulled the lever a second time, slime came down where Stiller was previously standing, so Stiller quickly ran and slid into the pool of slime on his own accord.
