The 13th Annual Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards Mexico was held on August 27, 2022 and was aired on Nickelodeon on August 30, 2022. It was hosted by Danna Paola, Alex Hoyer, and Luis de la Rosa and was once again held at the National Auditorium in Mexico City, Mexico. This edition was the first and only time Esteban Desco was the announcer. During the show, the "Pro-Social" award was given out to Paco De Miguel, a special award given out each year. Voting officially began on June 27, 2022 and ended on August 29, 2022. The KCA Squad for this year featured Danny Alfaro, Kevlex, Ian Lucas, and Shaula Ponce.
This year's show tied into the theme of the 2022 Kids' Choice Awards featuring, in some of the promos, things that kids would imagine about (such as a hot dog with butterfly wings), and the slogan for this year was "At Full Volume".
The challenges that took place this year throughout the show include pumping up a slime ballon on a cowboy hat the longest until it explodes, and trying to eat pie. Musical performances included Big Time Rush, who opened up the show doing a melody of their songs, "Windows Down", "Dale Pa Ya", "Boyfriend", and "Big Time Rush" and later returned near the end of the night to perform "Music Sounds Better With U", Ha*Ash performing "Mi Salida Contigo" with Kenia Os, who would then perform "Llévatelo", and finally Danna Paola performing "XT4S1S". Some of the celebrity guest appearances included Chingu Amiga, Juanfe Castro, and La Granja Del Borrego.
