Alexander James "A.J." McLean (born January 9, 1978) is an American musician and singer. He is a member of the Backstreet Boys.

Prior to joining the band, thus reaching the notoriety he has today, he appeared several times on Nickelodeon. First, he was a contestant on Nickelodeon GUTS. He later had a role in Welcome Freshmen and played Sidney Duff in Hi Honey, I'm Home!.
