Betty Marion White Ludden (January 17, 1922 - December 31, 2021) was an American actress and comedian known professionally by her maiden name; Betty White. With a television career spanning over 80 years, White has worked longer in that medium than anyone else in the television industry.
White is known for her award-winning roles as Sue Ann Nivens on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Rose Nylund on The Golden Girls.
On Nickelodeon, she provided the voices of Grandma Sophie Hunter in The Wild Thornberrys and Beatrice in SpongeBob SquarePants.
On December 31st, 2021, Betty passed away in her home at the age of 99, seventeen days before what would have been her 100th birthday.
