Bob the Builder is a British children's animated television show created by Keith Chapman who was also behind PAW Patrol.


In the original series, the show was animated in stop motion animation. Bob, a building contractor specializing in masonry along with his colleague Wendy, various neighbors and friends, and their gang of anthropomorphized work-vehicles and equipment do various tasks for those who need the help.

Broadcast History

The show is broadcasted in many countries, but originates from the United Kingdom where Bob is voiced by English actor Neil Morrissey. In the United States, Bob the Builder originally aired on Nick Jr. from 2001 to 2004. In 2005, the broadcast rights to the series were given to PBS Kids where it continued to air the remaining episodes of the original series and other series relating to Bob the Builder until 2018 when a reboot of the original show was cancelled.
