Burger King is an American global chain of hamburger fast food restaurants. Headquartered in the unincorporated area of Miami-Dade County, Florida, the company was founded in 1953 as InstaBurger King, a Jacksonville, Florida-based restaurant chain.
Since 1998, Burger King has done several promotions for Nickelodeon shows and movies, in which toys based on the shows were given out with the restaurant's kids' meals.
According to a Viacom press release, the August 1999 promotion was originally going to be themed entirely around Reptar in promotion of the direct-to-video release of the Rugrats episode "Runaway Reptar".
