C-3 was the pre-launch era of Nickelodeon. C-3 was a television channel as part of QUBE, an early local cable system launched in Columbus, Ohio by Warner Cable Corp. It debuted on December 1, 1977 and broadcast the educational show Pinwheel, created by Dr. Vivian Horner.
Pinwheel
Due to Pinwheel's success, this led to the launch of a national network, Nickelodeon, on April 1, 1979. As a result, C-3 was replaced by the Mime era.
