Donavon Stinson (born August 25, 1976) is an actor in motion capture, film and television. Moving to Vancouver in 1997, he got a motion capture role in Mainframe Entertainment’s Heavy Gear, which led to many other motion capture roles. He later transitioned to live-action roles in film and television. In 2014, he won a Canadian Leo Award for his role as Josh McTaggert in Call Me Fitz,[1] and the cast were nominated for Best Ensemble Performance in a Comedy Program or Series in the 26th Gemini Awards.[2]
For Nickelodeon, Stinson played Santa Claus in the original movies A Fairly Odd Christmas and Santa Hunters.
