Eddie Valentine (a.k.a. Eddie, Prince of the Netherworld) is a young boy who lives a couple of blocks away from the Rockets on Rocket Power. He is often seen wearing a black cape and a goalie's mask, looking like a villain from a sci-fi horror movie. Behind his mask, Eddie is a boy who cries for his mother if he gets a small cut.
Otto and the band consider Eddie as one of their friends, and do not seem to have any objections to his bizarre behavior. Eddie's parents are stage wizards, who explain a lot of his flair for costumes and high drama.
Although Eddie is just a young boy with a vivid imagination, the other kids of Ocean Shores find him very strange. He is often taken advantage of by the other kids due to his many resources, such as the pool in his backyard and the fact that his family appears to be financially well-off.
