Edie McClurg (born July 23, 1945) is an American character actress. She is known for her perky North Central dialect, or Upper Midwest accent, common to persons from Middle America.
She is best known on Nickelodeon as the voice of Violet Stimpleton, the Rocket family's neighbor on Rocket Power. She also voiced a nurse in The Rugrats Movie, Grandma Taters in The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius episodes "One of Us" and "League of Villains", Stone Crusher in the video game Tak: The Great Juju Challenge, and Miss Doris in Lucky.
