El Diablo is the tertiary antagonist of The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run. He is portrayed by Danny Trejo.

Description[]

He is a live-action character with red clothes, golden buttons, tassels, a hat, and a mustache.

Role in movie[]

He is part of the challenge given to Patrick Star and [SpongeBob SquarePants ] . He was the leader of the Flesh-eating cowboy pirate zombies, before Patrick and SpongeBob accidentally kill him. However, he revives adapting a tornado form. Then, he chases SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sage, and after a long chase, he stumbles and falls, then dissolves.

His name is similar to the main antagonist from the Disney film, Beverly Hills Chihuahua.
His name, El Diablo, means The Devil in Spanish.
