Erik MacArthur (born on October 15, 1976 in Honolulu, Hawaii) is an actor\director who is known for his role as Michael Stein on the first season of the Nickelodeon series Salute Your Shorts.
After the show's first season, Erik left the show and took a break from acting to focus on school. During his high school years, he was an accomplished baseball player and was looked at by Major League Baseball scouts, but an injury he sustained during his senior year prevented him from being drafted.
After completing high school, Erik returned to acting where he appeared in films such as Pleasantville and We Were Soldiers.
These days, Erik is focused on directing; in 2002, he directed his first short film called Life Makes Sense If You're Famous. In 2006, he directed his first feature film, Bottoms Up.
