Frederick R. "Fred" Newman (born in May 6, 1952) is an American actor, voice actor, composer, animal sound impersonator and sound designer, as well as host of the talk show Livewire. for about 4 seasons. He first appeared on the show as a guest in its first season, afterwards he was hired to take over for original host Mark Cordray.
As one of the voice actors on Doug, he played the roles of Porkchop, Fentruck, Ned, Bud Dink and Skeeter Valentine.
He was also a host for Nickelodeon's Halloween TV special game, Nick or Treat.
