Game Boys is the first segment of the 70th episode of The Loud House.
Summary[]
Lincoln is at Clyde's house, checking out his brand new gaming system, the Super-Snap 95. When Clyde says how much he likes his new console, he also states that he can't play it tomorrow because he and his dads like to spend Sundays without looking at screens. Lincoln asks Clyde if he can borrow the console, but Clyde fears that the Snap will be destroyed if it's brought to Lincoln's chaotic house. He attempts to deny Lincoln's request, but he can't bring himself to do so. After having trouble sleeping that night due to dreaming about his worst-case scenario, Clyde theorizes that if he were to hang out with Lincoln, he could keep an eye on his Snap.
Arriving at the Loud House, Clyde gives Lincoln his Snap and attempts to linger around him to keep an eye on it. Eventually, Lincoln becomes suspicious and thinks that Clyde is attempting to break free of his "Screen-Free Sunday". When Clyde lies by saying that's the reason, Lincoln shoos him out of the house, and Clyde decides to go incognito mode to keep an eye on his Snap.
Throughout the day, Clyde attempts to protect the Snap from any possible hazards, like Lynn's sports, a paint-covered Lily, Leni's kale juice (cause her to blame Lincoln for drinking it), Lisa's corrosive liquids, and Lynn Sr.'s cooking. While hiding underneath the dinner table, Lynn Sr. tells his family that dinner is ready. This causes the family to surround the table, blocking any possible exits. Lana, thinking Charles is under the table, gives a piece of sausage to Clyde. Charles, seeing Clyde taking his sausage, attacks him, exposing his hiding location. Leni once again blames Lincoln for invite Clyde at dinner and not giving him a chair, Lincoln say that he didn't do anything of him, but his two sisters still won't listen to him. Lincoln sees under the table that is actually Clyde who (accidentally) frames him for causing the trouble since he tries to protect the Snap. When Lincoln asks him what's happening, Clyde decides to tell him the whole story.
In the living room, Clyde explains to Lincoln that he originally didn't want him to borrow his Snap, out of fear that it would get wrecked by the chaos that regularly happens in the Loud House. When Lincoln asks why he didn't just tell him that in the first place, Clyde admits that he thought saying no would end their friendship. Lincoln says that their friendship still stands, and Clyde admits that he'll try to be more honest in the future. Lincoln gives Clyde his Snap back, and just before he leaves, Lynn Sr. attempts to give Clyde some of his dinner to take home, when he suddenly trips, flinging the food towards Clyde. Lincoln jumps in the way before the food can hit Clyde. Despite the Snap getting a minor stain, Clyde says that it's not a big deal, but upon exiting the house, Clyde quickly calls up his dads, telling them to get him a lint-free cloth and white vinegar.
