"Glow for It" is the 15th episode of The Fresh Beat Band.

Summary[]

The episode starts with Marina running towards the apartment with a new set of drumsticks. She goes into the apartment, closes the blinds on the door and turns off the lights. She plays her drums with the lights off, and it turns out her drumsticks can glow in the dark! As Marina is playing her drums, Kiki is seen in her room playing her guitar. She hears Marina drumming and decides to go check it out. Meanwhile, Twist and Shout are in Shout's room playing checkers. They also hear Marina playing drums and decide to finish their checkers game to see her. And before they went to go see Marina, Shout made a move in their checkers game in order to win against Twist.

Kiki, Shout, and Twist all come out of their rooms to see Marina playing drums, and naturally, they notice that the lights are turned off. Shout turns the lights back on and asks Marina why she had them off in the first place. Marina told him to turn the lights back off again so she could show them why. So Shout turns the lights back off and Marina plays some more on her drums, which makes the others notice that Marina's drumsticks can glow in the dark. Shout turns on the lights and, along with Twist and Kiki, comments on how cool Marina's drumsticks were. They all wanted Marina to play her drums some more as an encore. So Shout turned the lights off again and Marina played her drums one last time.

Shout turns the lights back on and asks Marina where she got those glow-in-the-dark drumsticks from. She says that she got them from Reed's music store and she's going to use them for the moonlight block later. Marina goes on to say that they need to do something special for the moonlight block party, something hip-hop and popping awesome. Kiki then suggests that they play glow-in-the-dark instruments for the party, so they decide to go to The Good Note Music Store to see if Reed has any more glow-in-the-dark instruments. So, as they are getting ready to go to Reed's music store, they sing an extended version of the song "Get Up And Go Go."

The song ended, and now the Fresh Beats are at The Good Note Music Store. Reed is seen putting up decorations all around his store, and once the Fresh Beats arrive, they startle Reed and make one of his decorations fall into his saxophone. Once the decoration falls into the saxophone, Reed plays it to make the decoration stick to the ceiling. The Fresh Beats want him to do it again, so Twist gives Reed another decoration, and Reed plays the saxophone to make it go up to the ceiling.

Marina expresses to Reed how her glow-in-the-dark drumsticks are great and she can't wait to use them at the moonlight block party. Kiki then tells Reed that the rest of them want glow-in-the-dark instruments as well. Unfortunately, Reed didn't have any more glow-in-the-dark instruments. However, Reed did have a whole box of glow-in-the-dark decorations, including glow sticks, stars, planets, and a lot more. All of Reed's decorations give Marina an idea that they can decorate the whole street for the moonlight block party. Reed offers that they can use his decorations in order to decorate. Shout worries that the one box of decorations may not be enough to decorate the whole street, but it turns out to have all sorts of decorations. It even has a pizza box with pineapple pizza in it. So the Fresh Beats and Reed start to decorate for the party, and as they are doing so, the Fresh Beats sing an extended version of the song "Friends Give Friends A Hand."

The song ends, and since the Fresh Beats decorated The Groovy Smoothie, Melody and the Fresh Beats exclaim that The Groovy Smoothie looks very groovy. However, Twist thought that The Groovy Smoothie could just be a little more awesome. So he goes into the box of decorations and pulls out one of the planet decorations. Kiki, Shout, and Melody agree that the decoration is awesome, but Marina states that it would be even more awesome with one of the other planet decorations she pulled out. Everyone did agree that it was more awesome, but Twist thought it would be even more awesome when he pulled out an umbrella and a space helmet. Naturally, Marina was confused as to how those objects were so awesome. Twist then pulls out a massive rocket ship from the box and blasts off into outer space. As Twist is in outer space, he finds the planet Saturn and pushes it all the way down to The Groovy Smoothie. When Twist comes back down to Earth, Marina admits that Saturn is a pretty awesome decoration.

More time has passed and the Fresh Beats have finished decorating the street. Twist still thinks that the street could use one more thing for it to be satisfactory. So he has an idea to get a really long rope and tie a hoop at one end to make a lasso, and toss it in the air to grab the moon and pull it down to use it as a decoration. Marina does agree that it's a cool idea, but she comes reeling down on a large decorative moon and suggests that they use that as a final decoration. Twist then completes the moon by pressing a button to make it light up. Now that the Fresh Beats are actually done decorating, it was time to get the party started!

The Fresh Beats have their instruments set up and are ready to perform their song. With the press of a button, Twist was about to make all the decorations light up. Twist is about to push the button, but stalls pushing it and keeps talking unnecessarily. It got to the point where Kiki, Shout, and Marina shouted at Twist to push the button already. Twist finally pushed the button, and everything looked so cool when it was lit up. The Fresh Beats start to play their song, but all of a sudden, the lights go dim; they stop working. Since all the lights weren't working, the party couldn't resume because no one could see anything. Reed proposes that he fix the lights, so he goes off to try and fix them. Shout worries about what will happen if Reed can't fix the lights. As Twist points out, the only thing people will be able to see would be Marina's drumsticks since they can glow in the dark. That gives Marina an idea to get glow-in-the-dark costumes for them to wear while they sing and dance. So, as they are singing and dancing, the Fresh Beats sing the song "Nighttime Surprise." And while the Fresh Beats sing the song, Reed eventually fixes the lights.

The song ended, and everyone had a really great time at the party, with or without the lights. Reed expresses how fantastic the Fresh Beats' performance was. He especially loved it when the Fresh Beats wore glow-in-the-dark costumes when the lights were off. Shout also adds that it was awesome to play music at night. Everyone repeatedly shouts the word "encore," meaning that they want the Fresh Beats to play some more music. So the Fresh Beats finish the night by singing "Great Day," because it was a great day and night.
