Guadalupe is a minor character in the Nickelodeon puppet series, Mr. Meaty. He is of Mexican descent and works at the Burrito Explosion restaurant within the Scaunchboro Mall. His voice actor is not credited.
Background[]
Guadalupe works at Burrito Explosion, a Mexican-themed food stall in the mall. He is often seen with his small dog, indicating a close companionship.
In the episode Flinga Flonga, he is shown to be good friends with Brent Butcher, Josh and Parker's childhood bully, whom he hires to work with him.
Appearance[]
Guadalupe is depicted as a man with tan skin, a distinctively long, angular face with a black, well-groomed mustache and styled hair. His attire consists of a light green, open-collared shirt that reveals his chest hair, black pants, and a white belt with a large, ornate gold buckle.
He is often depicted holding his small, white, fluffy dog.
Personality[]
Guadalupe is generally portrayed as a friendly and somewhat theatrical individual. His friendship with Brent Butcher in episode Flinga Flonga showcases his friendly demeanor. However, he is not afraid to stand up for himself or others; In the episode Wedgelor, Guadalupe proves to be immune to the titular villain's wedgie-based attacks, stating that having grown up with five older brothers and three spiteful sisters has made him impervious to such torments.
His protective nature is most evident when it comes to his dogs. In Insecurity Guard, he joins a resistance movement against Parker's tyrannical rules after Parker prohibits him from having dogs in the mall, and in Roast Beef Barb, he is among the mall patrons who are traumatized by Josh's monstrous meat girlfriend, Barb, and demands that she leave after she frightens his dog. He calls her a "monster" and is part of the angry mob that confronts her.
Interactions[]
- Brent Butcher: In Flinga Flonga, Brent is the new trainee at Burrito Explosion. Guadalupe seems to be fond of him, complimenting him on his work ethic, and promising to teach him how to make super guacamole salsa spicy chip. Brent is shown to be a respectful employee.
Trivia[]
- His immunity to wedgies, as revealed in the episode "Wedgelor", is a result of having eight siblings (five brothers and three sisters).
- The head piece for Guadalupe's puppet is taken from a 1992 series called The Grogs, from the same creators as Mr. Meaty.
