The Hypno-beam is a device created by Jimmy Neutron, which is able to hypnotize anyone zapped by it. Once in a trance, the hypnotized person will accept the first command given to them.
In the first two seasons, the Hypno-beam had a swirl on the front. For the third season, the swirl was removed, though in "The Trouble With Clones", we can see the Hypno-Beam in Evil Jimmy's Lab, looking exactly as it did in the previous seasons.
Appearance[]
It is a dark green, handheld device with a yellow satellite dish, a red swirl printed on, and an emitter with a conical end. It has a button that can record the command the user wants to induce into the targets before using it and activate the beam.
History[]
First seen in the interstitial short "Ultralord vs. the Squirrels", Jimmy uses the Hypno-beam to try and help Carl get over his fear of spiders, though it doesn't work. He then tries to hypnotize some squirrels into retrieving Sheen's Ultralord figure from a tree. Instead, they think his head is an acorn and leap at it.
In "Hypno Birthday to You", Jimmy uses the Hypno-beam to hypnotize Hugh and Judy into thinking his birthday was the next day, hoping to get a new chemistry kit as a present. Instead, they believe that every new day was his birthday.
In "Operation: Rescue Jet Fusion", Jimmy helps Jet Fusion defeat Beautiful Gorgeous by forging a makeshift Hypno-beam and putting her in a trance.
In "My Big Fat Spy Wedding", Jimmy, suspicious about Jet Fusion's odd behavior, questions Beautiful Gorgeous using his Hypno-beam. However, Beautiful Gorgeous ends up taking the Hypno-beam, using it on Jimmy to make him forget about the last 30 minutes.
In "The Trouble With Clones", Evil Jimmy uses the Hypno-beam to wreak havoc, hypnotizing Jimmy's friends into doing assorted things.
In the Jimmy Timmy Power Hour, Timmy Turner uses the Hypno-beam on Judy, hypnotizing her into thinking she is Mighty Mom.
