Jamie O Johanssen is Gerald's older brother in Hey Arnold!

Biography[]

Jamie O is Gerald and Timberly's older brother; his age isn't mentioned, but he's old enough to drive a car, so presumably he's in high school. Whatever school he's in, he's on the wrestling team.

Jamie O is allergic to flowers, and he drives a blue Pontiac Trans Am with white racing strips that he is often seen working on. He is shown to be into weightlifting and is very serious about his diet, at one point eating nothing but protein bars and raw meat. He bullies Gerald and is seen taking his stuff, such as when Gerald had a crush on Chloe. Jamie O acts immaturely, always taking Gerald's food and gives him noogies.

However, Jamie O does seem to ultimately care for Gerald. When he discovers that Chloe is only using Gerald to get to him, he gets very upset and attempts to tell Gerald about it. During "Jamie O in Love", Gerald tries to warn him about his girlfriend but Jamie O didn't believe it until he heard it for himself. Jamie O then treated his brother better since he was trying to help him.
