Jay Thomas (July 12, 1948 - August 24, 2017) was an American actor, comedian, and radio personality. He was best known for his acting career as Remo DaVinci on Mork & Mindy, Eddie LeBec on Cheers, and John Griffin from the TV film Killing Mr. Griffin.
On Nickelodeon, he played the Disembodied Voice on Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, and Bull Seal on The Wild Thornberrys.
On August 24, 2017, Jay died of throat cancer in Santa Barbara, California at the age of 69.
