A shorter version of the video above.
"Jingle Bells" is one of the best-known and commonly sung Christmas songs in the world. It was written by James Lord Pierpont (1822–1893) and published under the title "One-Horse Open Sleigh" in the autumn of 1857. It has been claimed that it was originally written to be sung by a Sunday school choir; however, historians dispute this, stating that it was much too "racy" (and secular) to be sung by a children's church choir in the days it was written.
Appearances in Nickelodeon productions[]
Hey Arnold![]
In "Arnold's Christmas", when Helga arrives at her home, her sister Olga and their parents are finishing up the song.
Kenan & Kel[]
In "Merry Christmas, Kenan", Kel joins Mrs. Quagmire in singing "Jingle Bells" outside Rigby's.
SpongeBob SquarePants[]
At the very beginning of "Christmas Who?", Patchy the Pirate is heard singing to the tune of "Jingle Bells". Then, at the start of the main story, Sandy is humming the song as she decorates her tree for Christmas. Later, SpongeBob leads the people of Bikini Bottom in chanting "Santa's coming tonight" to the tune of "Jingle Bells".
At the beginning of "It's a SpongeBob Christmas!", Patchy claims that this song's lyrics contain the directions to where Santa Claus lives. However, when he tries to sing the song, it becomes evident that he can't quite remember all the words. Later, in the main story, one of the carolers, after eating a jerktonium-laced fruitcake, argues with his two companions that he wants to sing "Jingle Bells".
The Loud House[]
The Louds singing "Jingle Bells" in "'Twas the Fight Before Christmas".
In the Christmas episode "11 Louds a Leapin'", Clyde sings "Jingle Bells" to distract Mr. Grouse in an attempt to help Lincoln retrieve his sled.
In the episode "Potty Mouth", Lincoln and his sisters try to perform good behavior for Lily to imitate after they think she said a swear word. In particular, when Lana hits her thumb with her hammer, she starts singing "Jingle Bells" instead of cursing.
At the beginning of "Snow Way Down", Lincoln, Clyde, Howard, and Harold sing the song, with alternate lyrics, on the way to the cabin.
Lincoln and Ronnie Anne briefly sing "Jingle Bells" at the end of Lincoln & Ronnie Anne's VLOG #3.
In "'Twas the Fight Before Christmas", Lynn Sr. and his brother Lance sing "Jingle Bells" with their respective kids during a campfire. Lynn Sr. criticizes Lance's pitch, and their attempts to match end up attracting a wolf (who apparently just wanted to join in).

In "Bramley Holiday", an instrumental version of the song appears as background music when the Bramleys get into a snowball fight.
