Josh Selig (born May 12, 1964) is an American television producer and director. He is the former president of Little Airplane Productions, a New York television studio that he co-founded with Lori Shaer. He created the shows Oobi and Wonder Pets! for Nickelodeon. He has won ten Daytime Emmy Awards for his work as a writer on Sesame Street.
In a 2007 interview, Selig called Nickelodeon "a great partner," saying "They're really the company that first believed in us when we pitched Oobi, and then they believed in us again on Wonder Pets!."
In the book Anytime Playdate, Selig explained that the Wonder Pets! episode "Kalamazoo!" was intended as a backdoor pilot for a spin-off series, centering on the character Ming-Ming and her brother Marvin. Selig pitched the spin-off to Nickelodeon after the final season of Wonder Pets! wrapped, but Nickelodeon did not pick up the spin-off or any additional episodes of the series.
