Kathleen Herles was born on November 13, 1990. She is an American voice actress. She is best known for being the original voice of Dora Márquez. Kathleen was born in Queens, New York City and her parents grew up in Peru. She studied dance and voice. She takes piano lessons. Kathleen was discovered when she was only 4 years old! She is currently attending college at Pace University. In 2008, Kathleen was asked to stop doing the voice of Dora because her voice sounded different with her retainer.
In 2007, Herles was nominated for an Imagen Award for Best Television Actress
She was nominated in 2007 and 2008 for NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Performance in a Youth/Children's Series or Special.
