Kids First is the sixteenth (fourteenth if excluding pre-Nickelodeon eras) era of Nickelodeon. It debuted on March 11, 2017, replacing the Technicolor Madness brand and its subsidiaries. The brand was replaced with The Splat Zone on March 4, 2023. Hunter Street was the first series to air under this era after the 2017 Kids' Choice Awards.

The era got a partial refresh in 2018 or 2019 that introduced new bumpers and endtags to be alongside the initial ones. A few promos on Nicktoons and TeenNick use this brand, but the brand never took full effect on the networks. Yet, holiday eras of the networks during this era match Nickelodeon's.

Bumpers and Promos[]

The bumpers of Nickelodeon are more unique. Instead of using slime and splat, the bumpers applies weird effects on kids, from invisible men, to ice cream falling out of a T-shirt. These bumpers are full of surprises!

The show bumpers have kids play with objects around a room, big or small. The show title will appear stacked to the left, with the logo appearing under. Newer bumpers have effects in the real world. These bumpers also contain logo transformations you won't find anywhere else!

Promo endtags are two screens, excluding the logo screen. One screen will contain the name of the show or event promoted, and the next one shows when it will air. These promos might take place at night with the screen shown in building walls and posters.

Similar to the previous two eras, various idents in different styles also appeared.
