Kiss is an American rock band formed in New York City in January 1973. Easily identified by its members' face paint and flamboyant stage outfits, the group rose to prominence in the mid to late 1970s on the basis of their elaborate live performances, which featured fire breathing, blood spitting, smoking guitars, shooting rockets, levitating drum kits and pyrotechnics.
In the The Fairly OddParents special Wishology!, it is revealed they are fairy guardians pivotal in the battle against the Darkness. Band members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley provide their own voices.
In the Action League Now! episode Rock-A-Big Baby Meltman and Thundergirl are attending their concert, Big Baby is awaken by the rhythm and terrifies concert scene running rampant, eventually gnawing on the band members due to its teething.
At the beginning of The Loud House episode "Left in the Dark", KISS is briefly seen on the Loud family's TV as the sisters are fighting over the remote in the flashback. KISS is also the inspiration for Lincoln's favorite band, SMOOCH.
