The Kraang are a species of brain-shaped extraterrestrials from Dimension X, piloting robotic bodies called Kraangdroids that are responsible for bringing some mutagen to Earth a thousand years ago. As revealed in "The War for Dimension X", the Kraang are actually Utroms that are now psychically controlled by Kraang Prime resulting in the Kraang Hive Mind. As they became extensions of Kraang Prime's will with trace remnants of individuality, they have not mastered English and communicate in redundant speech. The Kraang also have enemies in the form of the Triceraton Empire and the Utroms who Kraang Prime could not place under mind control.
