Lana L. Loud is the fourth-youngest of Lincoln Loud's ten sisters and one of the main characters of The Loud House. At six years old in the show's first four seasons, and eventually turning seven in the Season 5 episode "Strife of the Party", she is two minutes older than her twin, Lola. Lana is the complete polar opposite to Lola; she is a happy-go-lucky tomboy who loves to play, especially in mud. Contrary to her love of anything unhygienic, Lana is also a skilled handyworker, and gets along quite well with her siblings. Lana is also a friend to all animals, such as her pets, and is known to do whatever it takes to protect them, even when it goes against common sense. Since Lana is able to fix hard things, she is the second smartest Loud sister, after her younger sister Lisa.
