Leo is a character from the Nick Jr. show PAW Patrol. He is a member of the Cat Pack, representing the Lion.

Personality

Leo is fierce, brave, and bighearted. Though he is afraid of mice (much like Wild), he conquers the fear to help and rescue others that are in danger. He likes to play games that require strength as seen in "Cat Pack: Marshall, Leo, and a Ferris Wheel" and hearing animals of the wild roar with him as he likes to roar himself (as seen in "Cat Pack: The Cat That Roared").

Appearance

Leo has light orange fur with brown stripes, short, slightly darker orange tufts of fur on the top of his head and the tip of his tail, and dark and light green eyes. He wears a golden collar around his neck.

His suit, modeled after a lion, is yellow and gold with golden stripes that glow yellow when his powers are activated. He also wears a helmet with the same color scheme and a visor.

Kitty-Tag

Leo's tag is a yellow, golden-striped hexagon with a silver outer border. It has the same paw symbol that the other Cat Pack members have, except his is yellow with a white outline. It can be used for communication and when pressed, his pack activates, releasing the power suit that latches onto his body.

Kitty Pack

Leo's pack is yellow with golden stripes and shares the same paw symbol as his tag in the center. It stores his Cat Pack attire.

Vehicle

Leo rides a yellow, white and black lion-themed jeep that possesses similar super strength and roaring abilities as him. The front of his jeep can open its jaws to grab onto objects or release a powerful roar to intimidate or challenge others (as seen in "Pups Meet the Cat Pack") or break through objects (as seen in "Cat Pack: The Cat That Roared"). It also has a retractable tail at the end.

Skills and Abilities

Leo's Cat Pack attire grants him the ability, "Lion Strength", which gives his suit a yellowish glow and allows him to hold, carry and push heavy objects (as seen in "Cat Pack: Saving the Safe"). His suit also comes with lights to help him see in the dark (as seen in "Cat Pack: The Cat That Roared").

• He shares a name with a character of the same name from Season 1 of PAW Patrol.

• Currently, due to writing continuity errors, Leo has conquered his fear of mice three times.

• In Leo's concept art, his design looks similar to an American Curl. In his current design, however, his design resembles a tabby cat.
  • The most notable difference is his tail, which is fluffier in the concept art. This was likely changed to give emphasis on Leo's design having lion attributes.
    • His eye color, muzzle, fur color, and Cat Pack suit were also changed.
• He closely resembles Tuff Luck from Skylanders.
  • The only differences are:
    • Leo has a yellow uniform, while Tuff Luck has green.
