"Let's Boogie" is the 5th episode of The Fresh Beat Band.

Summary[]

The episode starts off in Kiki's room, where she's listening to some music. Shout calls her, and she reveals that the music she is listening to is the beat for a dance that she made up. Shout agrees that the music has an awesome beat, so he suggests getting Twist on the phone since he might like it. So Kiki called Twist, but he was still asleep. Twist eventually woke up, but he had his shoe to his ear, thinking it was his phone. He eventually realized that the "phone" he was using was actually his shoe, so he changed his clothes while he was in bed and picked up his actual phone to answer Kiki's call. Kiki, Shout, and Twist are all on the phone now listening to the music playing, and Twist agrees that the music has a neat beat for his feet, which is very sweet. As Kiki decides to add Marina to the call, Marina is seen practicing her drums. All the Fresh Beats are on the phone now listening to the music, and Marina says that it has a great beat. Kiki then reveals that she wants to choreograph a dance to the music so that they can teach it to the Junior Beats.

The Fresh Beats get off the phone, and the scene transitions to Marina's room, where she is trying to find her fantastic dancing shoes. Marina snapped her fingers to make her bed flip back and forth, but once the bed came forward, there was a pair of clown shoes, and Marina couldn't dance in those. Marina snaps her fingers again to make the bed flip back and forth again, but this time a pair of swimming flippers were shown. Marina jokingly says that she would be better off dancing in slippers. Lastly, she snapped her fingers, making the bed flip back and forth, and finally, her dancing shoes appeared! The Fresh Beats all come out of their rooms and are ready to start the day. So they sing and dance to the song "Let's Dance Everyone" as a warm-up.

After singing "Let's Dance Everyone," the Fresh Beats start to practice Kiki's dance. As Kiki is teaching, Shout goes too fast and bumps into Twist and Marina. He accidentally grabs Reed's stuff as he was passing by, then passes it to Twist, which made him fall onto an ice cream cart. Because of this, some ice cream got stuck onto Twist's back pocket. Then Twist politely gives the ice cream back to the ice cream vendor. As Reed is with the Fresh Beats, Twist and Shout explain to him how Kiki's dance keeps moving them in all different directions. Reed eventually leaves and bids the Fresh Beats good luck.

The Fresh Beats attempt Kiki's dance again, and Twist is going too fast while Marina is going too slowly. Meanwhile, Shout can't seem to remember what step is next. The Fresh Beats all fall down eventually, and they conclude that there are lots of tricky steps in Kiki's dance. Twist then has an idea to go to the robot store to get robot shoes, then wind them up and teach them to dance so that the robot shoes can do the dance for them. While Marina agrees that it's a cool idea, she gives the more plausible idea by finding a way to remember where to put their hands and feet when they dance. Kiki then sees some kids writing with chalk, and it gives her an idea. As the Fresh Beats are executing Kiki's idea, they sing the song "No Problem We Can't Solve." As they are singing the song, the Fresh Beats are cutting out paper the equivalent of the size of their feet. They are also making arrows as well.

After the song finishes, the result of their paper cutting turns out to be colorfully-detailed models of how and where the Fresh Beats should dance. The Fresh Beats tried Kiki's dance again, and then Twist started to get very mixed up. Then they tried to dance again, and once Shout jumped, his shoe flew off his feet to The Groovy Smoothie. The Fresh Beats head over to The Groovy Smoothie and see Melody with Shout's shoe.

The Fresh Beats needed a groovy smoothie as a break from dancing, so Twist asked Melody what flavors she had for the day. She sang a tune revealing the flavors she had, those being: wiggly-giggly watermelon, honey dew, banana, cherry, blueberry, rasberry, and sour lemon squeeze. Kiki wanted the rasberry flavor, Marina wanted the wiggly-giggly watermelon flavor, Shout wanted the chilly cherry-flavored smoothie, and Twist wasn't sure about what he wanted since he couldn't remember the flavors, so he asked Melody to repeat the flavors for her. So Melody re-sang the tune and then the Fresh Beats eventually started singing the song after she did. Which made Twist realize that he wanted the sour lemon squeeze. Melody revealed that she names her flavors in a song because it is an easy way to remember them. Which gave Shout the idea of putting Kiki's dance steps into a song in order to remember them. Marina reveals that she does the same thing when she ties her shoes. Since they came up with that idea, the Fresh Beats are now ready to teach the dance to the Junior Beats!

Before the Fresh Beats and the Junior Beats start dancing, the Fresh Beats tell them that once they hear the beat, they have to listen to the words in the song to move their hands and feet correctly. As the Fresh Beats are teaching the dance to the Junior Beats, "The Kiki Boogie" song is being sung. The song finishes, and Marina says that putting the dance steps in a song really helped them with the dance. The Fresh Beats once again go to The Groovy Smoothie, where they got another round of smoothies. Shout then says, "You really can't go wrong when you put it in a song."
