Hazel Antoinette Wells is a 10-year-old girl who is also the current godchild of Cosmo and Wanda, following Vivian Turner and Roy Raskin in Fairly Odder. She is the daughter of Angela and Marcus Wells and sister to Antony Wells. She's described in the show's theme song as "feeling all alone", due to her brother leaving for college, thus the reason she received the fairies.
Cosmo Julius Cosma and his wife Wanda Venus Fairywinkle-Cosma are Hazel's current fairy godparents. Cosmo is childish, emotional, and easily excited, while Wanda is generally more calm and mature. However, despite their differences, they are very much in love.
Hazel and Antony's mother who is an intelligent and poised therapist who also publishes self-help books and seems rather passionate about writing them. While she loves and cares about Hazel, she (ironically) sometimes has trouble figuring out what Hazel truly feels or needs.
Hazel and Antony's father and a professor who studies parascience phenomena; he believes that everything that might seem like magic has a logical scientific explanation and he wants to figure it out. This somewhat unknowingly to him ends up scaring Cosmo and Wanda, who are worried he might find out they are fairies. Marcus seems a bit more introverted and socially awkward than his wife. Similarly to her, he loves and cares about Hazel, but sometimes doesn't understand her feelings and needs. That said, the two have a good relationship, as they share interests in dinosaurs and mystery movies.
Hazel's first and best friend at her new school in Dimmadelphia. Jasmine is an enthusiastic and kind girl who ends up happily befriending Hazel. She is very passionate about singing, but isn't very good at it.
Hazel's second and best friend at her new school in Dimmadelphia who is generally shown to be a cool and confident kid who is popular at school. In spite of that, they are also friendly and easygoing and become good friends with Hazel. They really like skateboarding.
Son of Dale Dimmadome and grandson of Doug Dimmadome, which of course means he's incredibly rich, which makes him act arrogant and rude to others, especially Hazel. His relationship with Hazel changes and evolves over time, with them having somewhat of an on-and-off friendship. His father Dale neglects him and seemingly sees him as nothing more than a pawn. As a result, he ends up being granted his own fairy godparent in the form of Peri, Cosmo's and Wanda's son.
Periwinkle "Peri" Fairywinkle-Cosma is Cosmo and Wanda's son who was given the name "Poof" at birth but has since changed his name. He was first seen in the episode "Lost and Founder's Day", where he became Dev's fairy godparent. While he initially comes off as a smooth and suave guy, he quickly finds out that being Dev's godparent is a hassle due to the boy's spoiled behavior, which makes him become more neurotic and sarcastic in the following episodes. He wants to be independent from his parents and he hates being babied, but he nonetheless still loves them.
Jorgen is a high-ranking Fairy official (possibly the head of Fairy World; if not, probably its muscle), the strongest fairy in the universe and commander in chief of all fairies. He is married to the Tooth Fairy and his best friends are Cosmo and Wanda. He seems to be an obvious parody of Arnold Schwarzenegger, in both thickly-accented voice and muscular physique.
Doug Dimmadome's son, Dev's father and the owner of the Dimmadome Globadome. He is emotionally neglectful towards Dev and often sees him as nothing more than a pawn. He cares very much about profit and money and becomes suspicious of Hazel when she ends up not needing to buy anything from him due to her having fairy godparents.
One of Hazel's classmates who has a trending DimmVid channel where he does ASMR - videos meant to induce calming tingling sensations using sound. He mostly speaks in a soft, whispery voice and is often shown using food for his videos.
Once Timmy Turner's evil teacher, he is now the somewhat estranged janitor of the Galax Institute but still has his crazy evil fairy-hunting obsession. He is the only adult in Dimmadelphia (and, in fact, the only person in town outside of Hazel) who believes in Fairy Godparents. His trademark is having manic wild takes while loudly uttering the phrase "Fairy Godparents!"
