This page is a list of Nickelodeon shows that have changed their intros.

Nicktoons

  • Rugrats:
  • The Ren & Stimpy Show: John Kricfalusi's "Created by" credit was removed from the intro after Season 2.
  • Rocko's Modern Life: After the first season, the theme song was performed by the B-52s.
  • Aaahh!!! Real Monsters: The Gromble screams something different after rising through the floor in each episode.
  • Hey Arnold!: The song was re-arranged in Season 3. Also, an animation oddity with the close-up short of Helga was fixed.
  • CatDog: A special version of the song was used for the opening and closing for "CatDog and the Great Parent Mystery".
  • The Wild Thornberrys: The intro always ends by zooming in on a map of the world, to the location where the Thornberrys were in the current episode.

  • The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius: From "The N-Men" onward, the intro sequence was changed to include a new assortment of clips, and also added Libby to the group shot around the logo.
  • My Life as a Teenage Robot: The theme song is dramatically interrupted for the title sequence for "Escape From Cluster Prime".
  • Danny Phantom: Danny's emblem was added in Season 2.
  • T.U.F.F. Puppy: After the theme song, Dudley strums the bass chord until something happens.
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Each season updated the intro sequence to introduce more of the major and supporting characters. The theme song was changed entirely for the fifth and final season, Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
  • Sanjay and Craig: The portraits of Craig in the intro would often show him wearing different outfits. Sometimes he gets depicted in a different style.
  • The Loud House:
    • In "11 Louds a Leapin'", the logo appears in a winter background instead of the usual black background, and Lily is dressed in her winter coat.
    • In "Tricked!", Lily wears a ghost costume when the logo comes up and lets out a ghostly wail instead of saying "Poo-poo!"
    • Chris Savino's "Created by" credit at the end was greyed out starting in Season 4.
    • The "...with The Casagrandes" mini-series at the beginning of Season 4 used a shortened version of the song with only the second verse, after which Ronnie Anne appears in the front of the logo and introduces the viewers to her family.

Live-action shows

  • Clarissa Explains It All: The original intro sequence was discarded after the first season, getting plastered over by the second intro in reruns and even the DVD set.
  • All That: The intro was updated each time a cast member joined or left the show.

Nick Jr. shows

  • Blue's Clues:
    • Starting in season 2, Blue hides in a different spot outside the house.
    • Starting in Season 5, a brand new intro was made after Joe runs as the host.
  • Dora the Explorer: Each season changes it's intro to make it more unique.
  • The Backyardigans: During each season the intro was changed the reference the season’s episodes
  • Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!: In, Season 2 the intro was updated to introduce Daizy.
