"Loco Legs" is the 4th episode of The Fresh Beat Band. While it was the fourth to air, this episode was the first to be produced.
Summary[]
The episode begins in Twist's room, where Kiki is trying to call him on the phone, but he is still sleeping! So Kiki decides to wake him up by playing her guitar, and it works. While on the phone with Kiki, Twist remembered that it was their big performance for Music School, and because he was understandably excited, he energetically stripped off his pajamas in a comedically fast manner. Kiki then decided to include Marina in their video call. Marina hadn't finished practicing her drums yet, so she decided to add Shout to the call after she finished playing a drum beat. Before Shout answered the phone, he was seen stretching. Marina then begins to remind him of the big show, but Shout says "big show" before Marina could finish her sentence. Shout then changes out of his pajamas and into his regular clothing, then the Fresh Beats perform "School Days."
After singing the song, the scene cuts to Twist's room, where he can be seen lacing his shoes and checking his hair to see if it looked sweet! Marina knocked on Twist's door with her drumsticks, and when Twist opened it, Marina and Kiki were there, almost falling over from leaning on the door. When Twist couldn't find his backpack, he asked Kiki and Marina if they had seen it, and Marina informed him that it was on his back.
The scene transitions to Shout's room, where he expresses his excitement for the upcoming huge performance at Music School. His legs began to go crazy; they caused him to move crazily all around the room. Shout declared that he had loco legs because his legs were going loco! Shout had to put his shoes on because he couldn't walk down the street without them. The trouble was that putting them on was a hassle because his legs were going loco. Fortunately, he was able to put his shoes on.
Meanwhile, Kiki, Marina, and Twist were waiting for Shout in the lobby, and when Kiki asked about where he was, Shout came out of his room with his loco legs, then unwillingly fled the apartment due to the circumstances he was in. Fortunately, Shout found a lamppost to hold onto, limiting his movement. Kiki suggests that his loco legs began as a result of his plaid shorts. So he changed to a different pair of shorts, but that didn't help because he still had loco legs. Twist suggests that Shout's loco legs are caused by the hat he was wearing, but that didn't seem to be the case. Finally, Marina suggests it's because of his shoes, but that didn't work either.
Shout and the other Fresh Beats follow Shout's loco legs over to The Groovy Smoothie, where the Fresh Beats, of course, see Melody. Twist then proposes that they load Music School onto a massive truck and transport it to Shout, who is unable to get there due to his loco legs. While that is a cool idea, Marina advises that they use Melody's balloons to help Shout get to Music School. Shout's loco legs take control of him yet again, leading him into the park. While the other Fresh Beats are chasing him down, they all sing "Friends Give Friends A Hand." The other Fresh Beats eventually caught up with Shout and handed him the balloons, which he used to get to school.
The Fresh Beats eventually arrived at Music School, but there was one roadblock: Shout still had his loco legs. Because of this, the Fresh Beats sought to come up with dances that Shout could do with loco legs, so Kiki showed him some movements, but his loco legs prevented him from doing them. Marina then has the wonderful idea of having Marina, Kiki, and Twist dance like Shout, as if they had loco legs. Ms. Piccolo then walks into the room and informs the Fresh Beats that it is now their turn to perform. So the Fresh Beats take the stage and perform "Loco Legs," a tune aptly named. Everyone enjoyed it, and Ms. Piccolo demonstrated her admiration for the smooth moves by singing bits of the Loco Legs song as she exited the room.
Shout notices that his loco legs have disappeared after Ms. Piccolo has left. So he concluded that the reason his loco legs began in the first place was because he was excited about the show. However, now that the show has ended, he is no longer enthusiastic about it, and his loco legs have vanished. The Fresh Beats go to see Melody to give her back her balloons, and while they see her, Melody reveals that she was going to the fruit store, and she was quite excited. Her legs were going crazy because she was so eager! What are the chances? It's possible that loco legs are contagious! Melody received balloons from the Fresh Beats in the hopes that she would make it to the fruit store. The episode concludes with the Fresh Beats having a great day and Twist experiencing a wiggle in his rear end, a condition which he called "bouncy buns."
