Nick Jr.com Description[]
Ready to get fired up?! Marshall is one action-oriented, enthusiastic firefighting pup! Whether it’s a BBQ flare-up or a kitten stuck up a tree, Marshall is always up for a challenge and is often the first pup on the scene. Marshall is known for being a teensy bit clumsy and doesn’t always look before he leaps. Sometimes, that leads to him falling flat on his face, but don’t worry! Marshall is always quick to dust himself off and get back into the action.
Personality[]
Marshall is the PAW Patrol's fire rescue dog and as of Season 2, its medic. He is prone to clumsily tripping over objects on his way to the Lookout's elevator with the other pups. His vehicle is a red firetruck that is able to transform into an ambulance. His loyalty and braveness is also shown in the series. He is very friendly as well, especially towards birds (such as Fuzzy, the gosling he befriends in the episode "Pup Pup Goose").
Despite his clumsiness, he is a loyal, competent and brave member of the PAW Patrol and has helped Ryder and the other pups in several missions. He and Chase are best friends and can be playfully competitive with each other. He may unintentionally spray Rocky with his water cannons, but he always apologizes for it afterwards.
He's very earnest in helping people, though he can be awkward. He is good with animals. Aside from the aforementioned birds, he tends to get along with monkeys and cows. He has a big heart and is determined to never let his friends down.
If his clumsiness or impulse causes an accident or more work for others, he will try his best to make it right. This is shown in "Pups Chill Out", when he eats all the Puppy Pops, he helps complete the mission, at the end.
Appearance[]

Pup-Tag[]
Like all of the PAW Patrol pups, Marshall has his own personalized pup-tag which he uses to make calls to Ryder, The Lookout, and the other pups, as well as make video calls to said members. His is customized with a red background and a fire symbol to represent his job of taking out fires. The Mighty Pups version of his pup-tag is similar to his original except the tips of the flames are longer.
