Hi! It's been a little stalled. I've been meaning to update basic pages like SpongeBob SquarePants episode list to interlink to Encyclopedia SpongeBobia, but I've been occupied with other work recently. As for anything you can do to help, maybe messaging some frequent editors to see if they'd like to help interlink list pages like that. But I could do that sometime if you can't.
Hi, no worries - with the world as it is now everyone has other things to contend with. That is totally fine.
Have you got written down somewhere this system you are using to interlink to other wikis? I only ask as we could ask the community to do this via Announcements and they can help out. --Spongebob456talk
I think it looks good! One thing I would add is the episode lists category Category:Episode lists so users can easily navigate there. Apart from that - I think you are good to go! :D --Spongebob456talk
Should I keep or ban my Nelvana Wiki's episode pages, because I alread seen you deleting episode pages and it make think about me not knowing what to do for these pages. And I've seen you deleted my message from eailer without even replying to me.
I'm not an editor there, so I'll just summarize this wiki's discussion on the topic and hope you can apply it to that wiki. The consensus here is not to keep separate episode pages: it's helpful to the show-specific wikis (ex. Encyclopedia SpongeBobia) if we link to their own episode articles instead of keeping less-complete versions over here. It's better for us on Nickipedia because we don't have to try to maintain countless episode pages that are poorer-quality compared to the more in-depth show wikis' articles.
Good idea - I just added an Announcement for it, so all of our editors know how/why to interlink. Thankfully Snoopy The Dog commented his agreement on the blog yesterday, and already tried it out with the MLAATR episodes. I did the same for Legends of the Hidden Temple, and now all of its episode names interlink to the show's dedicated wiki.
I agree, changing to that naming scheme would help standardize our list pages here (character lists use that scheme but not episode lists). As far as I know, your suggested format is also what Wikipedia and most other wikis prefer.
So recently I was looking though the comments on some of these articles, some people said they didn’t like the show (or character, or episode), and other people disrespected there opinion. I went Though and deleted some of those comments (Most Where rude comments), would like to here what you think about this issue.
According to the sources from before it premiered, it was only intended as a miniseries of specials based on Rugrats, not a full show. With that in mind, it doesn't exactly belong in a list of the (full-series) Nicktoons that Nick has made. It's still an official Nicktoon spin-off project (like how the Astrology with Squidward short series is still a Nicktoon project), but it isn't one of the full-fledged Nicktoons.
I Think We Should probably only put Images of Toys on The List of Nickelodeon Toys Page, and Not The Characters Galleries I know it's The Character and The character has Merchandise but we don’t need those there, Anyway Just Saying Like to hear what you Think about this.
I mostly agree. I think that adding a lot of merchandise images to characters' galleries can add unnecessary clutter. Some galleries are already pretty cluttered anyway.
I can also see when merchandise pictures would be helpful to a character gallery, to illustrate a trivia point or otherwise. For example, all of the SpongeBob plush toys change his holes to be yellow instead of green. Readers would find it helpful to see a picture of the plush with yellow holes on the article for SpongeBob.
I guess one or two images of merchandise (on a character article) are fine, to show readers how the character looks in toy form. But any more than that is just cluttering up a gallery, and they should only belong on the list page.
