This is something I’ve seen used on https://disney.fandom.com/wiki/The_Disney_Wiki and I’m wondering if the same format for voice actors can be applied here alongside the lists (if the lists won’t be removed). Do you like this suggestion?
Hi, I would like to make a request for editing on the home page, if you take any. Since editing on the page has been prevented, I figured an administrator would be able to help out keeping it up-to-date as it seems like it needs more editing. That said, here are the following contributions I am requesting:
Shows section - It's Pony from the "Upcoming shows" sub-section needs to be moved to the "Nicktoons and Other Animated Shows" as it has already premiered. Additionally, there are new shows that need to be added to the "Upcoming section" which includes: Kamp Koral, Adventures in Wonder Park, Rugrats, Man of the House, and Garfield. Link them, even though they don't need a page yet.
Movies section - The Wonder Park title image (Wonder_park_title.png) should be changed since I have uploaded the film's title image. Next, the Dora and the Lost City of Gold and Playing with Fire should be included. The Dora's title logo (Dora_movie_title.png) has been uploaded so use that. You can also use the condensed subtitle "Dora Lost Gold".
Polls - There must be some forums to decide new polls, if anything. Nevertheless, the current poll about the 2019 shows is outdated and should be replaced with something like "What did you think about the new show It's Pony!?" and use answers like: I like it, Meh, I don't like it, and I don't know. Or you can make up any other poll.
That's about it. I will upload the title images for the Playing with Fire and Monster Trucks momentarily. This request is specifically to keep the front page up to date with current topics and new shows/films. You could also have other administrators help out. Thank you in advance.
Have a nice day. (Jctoons (talk) 19:58, January 24, 2020 (UTC))
On the Nicktoons page, I wrote how the showcases were "usually" excluded because of cases like the "Not Just Cartoons" book, but didn't want to specificially mention it because Jerry Beck (the author) is pretty unreliable. I'm not so sure we should highlight his book as an ultimate source or anything, because Beck is known to use fan materials/sites to plan out his books. He even used some guy's Deviantart fanart of Barnacle Boy for the SpongeBob book he did!
That said, I know he did work with Nick's marketing team for the book so he could get all the art from their archives in New York. But Nick's marketers are different from the Animation Studio who actually make the official Nicktoons.
I kind of wish Nick put together an official lineup of their 2000s originals like they did for the 2010s. That video, the one of their 2010s originals, sparked a lot of discussion because it had every Nicktoon of the 2010s - except for the two DreamWorks shows, which fit in with how they've been removing the DW characters from all their materials over the past few years.
The "Golden boy" episode is episode 55 and last episode of the show, not episode 47 just to let you know. Though chronological in terms of time placement it shouldn't be but it is listed as the final so I do understand where you could be come from.
Well, the thing is, I'm going by the show's production order, according to how the episodes are listed in the iTunes releases. (I prefer to use production order for the episode lists here since Nickelodeon tends to air their shows' episodes out of order.)
