Robert Michael Jeter (August 26, 1952March 30, 2003) was an American character actor of film, stage, and television. His television roles included Herman Stiles on the sitcom Evening Shade from 1990 until 1994, and Mister Noodle on the Elmo's World segments of Sesame Street from 2000 until 2003.

He provided the voice of Biederman in The Wild Thornberrys who appeared in four episodes and Nate Horowitz, Eugene Horowitz's father in Hey Arnold!.

He died of complications after an epileptic seizure in his home in Hollywood at the age of 50. His last two films, Open Range and The Polar Express, which were released after his death were dedicated to his memory. The latter movie had his voice work completed by André Sogliuzzo.

His Ah ses cremated and gave by his wife Sally.
