Hillwood

Hillwood is the city where Arnold lives, and where most events of the show Hey Arnold! take place. It is located in Washington state, as revealed in the episode "Road Trip" and evidenced throughout other episodes. The city's name is never explicitly said out loud by any character, but it's visible in several locales throughout the series.

According to an interview with Craig Bartlett, Hillwood an amalgam of large northwestern cities (mostly), including Seattle (his hometown), Portland (where he went to art school) and Brooklyn (the bridge, the brownstones, and the subway).

	Eugene's house	Eugene's house is a location where Eugene Horowitz and his family live.
	Park's house	Where Park and his unknown parents Live it’s across the street from Stoop Kid.
	Lorenzo's house	This is the house that Lorenzo lives in.

	YMAA gym	YMAA gym is a fictional location where Coach Wittenberg, Tucker, Arnold and his team played their basketball game and Arnold and his family played Fighting Families. The April Fools' Day dance was also held here. "YMAA" may stand for "Young Men's Agnostic Association." "YMAA" is an obvious reference to the real YMCA organization.
	Aquarium	First seen in "Field Trip". It is a city aquarium shaped like a sperm whale.
	Mighty Pete	The oldest, tallest, and practically the only tree left standing in Hillwood. The tree holds a treehouse within its branches.

	Bigal's Cafe	Bigal's Cafe is seen in the intro to Hey Arnold! It is thought that the name was supposed to be "Big Al's Cafe", but the animators didn't have enough room on the window for the entire phrase.
	Big Bob's Beepers	Big Bob's Beepers is, as its name suggests, a pager emporium owned by Big Bob Pataki. It was shown to have fallen on hard times in Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie.
	Chez Paris	A French restaurant located in Hillwood.
	Marv's Scarves	A shop seen in "Grandpa's Packard". Marv works here.
