Nick's Thanksgiving Fest was a one-shot animated Thanksgiving special that aired on Nickelodeon on November 22, 1989.[1] It was an anthology special that consisted of two short stories, with wrap-around segments produced by Joey Ahlbum (producer of many of the animated Nick station IDs at the time).
The two main stories are:
- "Thanksgiving Nightmare" - While a family goes out after finishing their Thanksgiving dinner, a bunch of mice and roaches fight over the leftovers, and then have to work together when the family cat tries to get rid of them.
- "Thanksgiving Dream" - On the night before Thanksgiving during the Great Depression, two siblings named Sam and Emily have a dream about everything in their mother's kitchen coming to life.
