Nick Records (also known as Nickelodeon Records) is a record label created by Nickelodeon. The name is used for soundtrack and compilation albums based on Nickelodeon TV shows.
The label is separate from Nickelodeon's music publisher, Music by Nickelodeon Inc., which manages all music produced by Nickelodeon. The Nick Records name is only used for media releases like CDs.
Due to Nickelodeon's deal with Sony Music Entertainment, Nick Records currently only operates as a vanity label, as Sony handles all releasing, marketing and distribution.
