Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is a fighting crossover video game developed by Ludosity and Fair Play Labs and published by GameMill Entertainment. It is a direct sequel to 2021 game Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl that released on November 7, 2023 digitally and on December 1, 2023 physically for Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
The game includes a new single-player story campaign in which the player has to stop Vlad Plasmius from conquering the universe. Gameplay in all modes will also now include a new Slime Meter mechanic, which can be used for many purposes, such as enhancing special moves, a Slime Burst attack that can be used to shake opponents off, cancelling moves into other options using a Slime Cancel, an air dash, and most notably Supers, ultra-powerful moves that can swing the match in a combatant's favor (similar to the Final Smash moves in the Super Smash Bros. franchise).[1]

Trivia
- According to the art director, Diego Rodriguez, 98% of the game has been built up entirely from scratch compared to the first game.[5]
- This game marks the first time a Nickelodeon game with online functionality has cross-play between all consoles.
- The original Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl was planned to have this feature added in an update, but it was eventually cancelled due to issues with rights handling.
- The game was leaked in many different ways across the development of the game:
- The game's existence was first leaked in December 2022 through a 4chan thread. Three screenshots were shared, which showcased Danny's new model, Patrick using his Super move, and Squidward himself. Six months later, on June 26, 2023, Cropped-out parts of a supposedly early version of the cover art for the game, (which confirmed Jimmy and Raphael) along with a screenshot of Danny holding a sword (which ended up being Sokka's Sword) were leaked by Twitter user StevenSquareHeaded.[6] The final cover art, albeit with some of the characters blurred out, was shared by the same user a month later, on July 22, five days before the game's official announcement.
- An expanded version of the game's cover art was then leaked, five days after the game's official reveal trailer, by an Amazon UK listing on August 1st, 2023, featuring all the newcomers, who at the time had not been revealed (only Squidward, Jimmy, Raph and Donnie were announced before the leak). Throughout September 2023, multiple things leaked from the game such as renders, screenshots and information about the single-player campaign. All of these were leaked on the Nickelodeon All Star Brawl Subreddit and official Discord server.
- On October 2, 2023, the game was accidentally livestreamed by Twitch streamer "TKbreezy", who was a playtester for the game, for around 30 minutes before being taken down.[7][8][9] Despite deleting the original stream, fans were quick enough to record the entire gameplay and share it online. As a result from all of this, all leak discussions were banned from the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Subreddit[10] and official Discord server.
- Throughout October 2023, various DLC content, character renders, music and gameplay have been leaked by various people through a early build of the game.
- A fully playable Mr. Krabs was accidentally added to Update 1.4 and can be accessed by modifying the game files. Renders for the three other DLC characters were also added to the update.[11]
- Voice lines for Rocksteady, Iroh and Zuko have been accidentally added to Update 1.6.
- A fully playable Zuko was accidentally released exclusively on the Xbox Series X and Series S version on April 4, 2024, but was quickly removed.
- To prevent spoilers, all leaked content will only be added once they have been officially announced.
- This also makes this the first time a Nickelodeon-based game by GameMill Entertainment wasn't leaked on retail sites.
- Additionally, Donatello is the only new fighter who wasn't leaked.
- The game's logo went through several revisions before the final logo was decided. One of the oldest versions of the logo reveals the original codename for the game was Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2023.[12]
- This marks the first console crossover game to include any characters from El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera since Nicktoons MLB.
- Additionally, this marks the first time El Tigre is playable in a crossover video game since Nicktoons: Android Invasion in 2008.
- This marks the first console crossover game to include any characters from The Angry Beavers since Nicktoons MLB.
- Additionally, this marks the first time the Angry Beavers have been playable in a crossover video game since Nicktoons Racing in 2000, the largest gap between a character's first and second playable appearance in a Nickelodeon crossover video game.
- This also marks the first time the Angry Beavers have been voiced properly in a game, every past game appearance either used archived recordings, or no voices at all.
- One of the weapons Zim uses in his moveset is the Plunger of Doom from SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom.
- This is the first time a game from the Nicktoons Unite! series has been referenced since 2008.
- The game was originally planned to release on November 3, however the game was delayed to November 7 to give the game some extra finishing touches.
- This marks the first crossover game to have Mr. Krabs, Ember, Azula, Grandma Gertie, Iroh and Rocksteady as playable characters.
- This marks the debut of Jacqueline Grace Lopez as Korra, following Janet Varney's departure from the role after Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway.
- Lincoln Loud, Sandy Cheeks, Leonardo, Michelangelo, Shredder, Helga Pataki, Powdered Toast Man, Oblina, Toph Beifong, CatDog and Hugh Neutron are the only playable characters from the previous game that have not appeared in this installment as playable characters.
- This also marks the first time The Loud House has been represented in a crossover game without Lincoln as a playable character.
- Out of these characters, Lincoln, Sandy, Leo, Mikey, Shredder, Helga, Powdered Toast Man and Hugh are the only characters to appear in the game in some capacity (stage cameos, NPCs, or in the case of Sandy and Shredder, the emblem for a difficulty setting and as a campaign boss, respectively) Oblina, Toph, and CatDog are the only characters to be fully absent.
- Rocko's Modern Life, The Wild Thornberrys and My Life as a Teenage Robot are so far the only shows without existing items in game.
