Nicktoons: Android Invasion is a 2008 platformer game released for the LeapFrog Didj on June 29, 2008, a portable game system, which is made to help preschoolers and young grade-schoolers learn through games. In this game, the player can play as either SpongeBob SquarePants, Danny Phantom, or Manny Rivera. The plot is to stop Zim from taking over the world while fighting android clones of the player character's friends. It takes place inside Zim's base. At random points in the game there will be blockades that can be removed by solving math problems. When playing as SpongeBob, in one level, GIR will leave hidden piggies around the base. Much like Nicktoons: Freeze Frame Frenzy, Zim is the main antagonist of this game.

Trivia[]

  • This is the only time The Fairly OddParents has been represented in a crossover game without Timmy Turner as a playable character.
  • On January 24, 2024, the source code for the game was leaked online, revealing concept art, storyboards, scripts, reference material, early builds and various other assets that were used during development. Most notably, the source code reveals that a Nintendo DS port of the game was planned at some point and that Tak was planned to appear as a fourth playable character early on in development, but was scrapped, due to unknown reasons.
  • Additionally, this was the second video game where Zim stars as the main antagonist, and the first crossover video game where Manny Rivera is a playable character when the player starts the game.
