Sir Patrick Stewart OBE (born July 13, 1940) is an English actor, director and producer whose work has included roles on stage, television, and film, in a career spanning six decades. Best known for his role as Jean-Luc Picard on Star Trek: The Next Generation and Professor X in the X-Men movies, he has been nominated for Olivier, Tony, Golden Globe, Emmy, Screen Actors Guild, and Saturn Awards.
