Peppa Pig is the protagonist and titular character of the animated series of the same name. She is a 4-year-old pig who lives with Mummy Pig, Daddy Pig, and her little brother George. She enjoys playing with her friends, going to playgroup, visiting her grandparents, and jumping in muddy puddles. Currently, she is voiced by Amelie Bea Smith, but she has also been voiced by Lily Snowden-Fine, Cecily Bloom, and Harley Bird in the past.
Appearance[]
Peppa is a pale pink pig with pink cheeks, nostrils, and outlines. She has magenta lips and black pupils on her eyes. As expected, Peppa also portrays features shown in many pigs, such as ears on her head, a long snout, and a pig tail. Her arms and legs are drawn in a stick figure style. Her clothing consists of a red dress and black shoes, the latter usually replaced with yellow boots (described as "gold" by Peppa herself) whenever she's outside.
Personality[]
Peppa is an energetic and curious little pig who likes discovering and learning new things everyday. However, she has also been shown to be bossy and cheeky sometimes, such as when she teases George for being little, or her Daddy for having a big tummy. She can also get angry when things don't go her way, which sometimes causes her to fight with her friends, even her best friend Suzy Sheep.
Despite all this, she does learn her lessons at the end of the day, and can easily resolve any arguments. Peppa loves her friends and family, and always enjoys helping, playing, and hanging out with them. She cares deeply for her family, especially her little brother George. She is very defensive of him and can quickly turn her back on anyone who insults him.
