Pictograph is the eighth (sixth if excluding pre-Nickelodeon) branding era of Nickelodeon. It debuted in October 11, 2002 through November 2003, replacing the Abstract era. It was replaced with The Splat is Real on sometime later in November 2003.

Bumpers, Idents, and Promos

The bumpers and promos are way more animated than the bumpers of the previous era, as they now contain graphics of the Nicktoons of that era with shapes. These graphics pop up all around you. The Nickelodeon logo still takes up simple shapes.

Generic bumpers

	"Light Beams" (WBRB)	It shows the Nicktoon characters were abducted to those light beams, then the circle-shaped Nick logo appeared in the yellow ripple background. The announcer says "We'll be right back with more Nickelodeon.".

	"Squares" (WBRB)	It shows the flying colorful squares that has various Nicktoon characters in the dark orange background, then the Nick logo pops and sways. The announcer says "We'll be right back with more Nickelodeon.".
	"Squares" (BTTS)	Same as above. The announcer says "Now we're back with more Nickelodeon.".
	"Atom" (WBRB)	The Nicktoon characters were stand in the blue hole until the Nickelodeon ball drops by. The announcer says "We'll be right back with more Nickelodeon.".
	"Atom" (BTTS)	Same as above. The announcer says "Now we're back with more Nickelodeon.".
	"Scribbles" (WBRB)	The Nicktoon characters draw themselves. The announcer says "We'll be right back with more Nickelodeon.".

	"Characters on a Green Background" (WBRB)	Multiple of the Nicktoon characters are seen on a green background in which revealing a rectangle version of the Nick logo in the black background. The announcer says "We'll be right back with more Nickelodeon.".
	"Characters on a Green Background" (BTTS)	Same as above. The announcer says "Now we're back with more Nickelodeon.".

SpongeBob SquarePants

	"Blue Line" (WBRB)	In the green background with the blue line, Sandy, Squidward and Patrick appear, while the announcer says "We'll be right back to SpongeBob SquarePants, on Nickelodeon.". At the end of the line, Hans puts SpongeBob on the screen.
	"Blue Line" (BTTS)	In the green background with the blue line, SpongeBob, Squidward and Gary appear, while the announcer says "Now we're back to SpongeBob SquarePants, on Nickelodeon.". At the end of the line, Hans puts Mr. Krabs on the screen.
	"Clock" (WBRB)	In the plain greenish-yellow background, SpongeBob appears as the middle of a clock, doing his famous technique from the episode "Bubblestand". The twelve numbers have been replaced by six SpongeBobs doing the same technique. The announcer says "We'll be right back to SpongeBob SquarePants, on Nickelodeon.".
	"Clock" (BTTS)	In the plain greenish-yellow background, SpongeBob appears as the middle of a clock, with his hands as indicators. Numbers have been replaced by the main characters of the series. The announcer says "Now we're back to SpongeBob SquarePants, on Nickelodeon.".
	"Labels" (WBRB)	In the orange background, it is giving you labels of SpongeBob's features, such as his uniform, while the announcer is saying "We'll be right back to SpongeBob SquarePants, on Nickelodeon.".
	"Labels" (BTTS)	In the green background, it is giving you labels of Patrick's features, such as his uniform, while the announcer is saying "Now we're back to SpongeBob SquarePants, on Nickelodeon.".
	"SpongeBob's Wiggling Arms" (WBRB)	In the purple background with moving eyes, we see SpongeBob who is raising his arms with the show's main characters. The announcer says "We'll be right back to SpongeBob SquarePants, on Nickelodeon.".
	"SpongeBob's Wiggling Arms" (BTTS)	Same as above, but we going left, as well as the characters in their different poses. The announcer says "Now we're back to SpongeBob SquarePants, on Nickelodeon.".

As Told by Ginger

	"Ginger's Notebook" (WBRB)	In the gradient green background, we see the silhouettes of the main characters from the series, but the camera moves and reveals to be a notebook with a pencil and the characters as the stickers. The announcer says "We'll be right back to As Told by Ginger, on Nickelodeon.".
	"Ginger's Notebook" (BTTS)	Same as above, but the characters are different, as well as an ruler on the notebook. The announcer says "Now we're back to As Told by Ginger, on Nickelodeon.".
	"Polka Dots and Bars" (WBRB)	It features the black, orange and melon dots as they're moves in the white background, before the melon bar with a outline of Ginger moves up. The "WE"LL BE RIGHT BACK" word and the Nick logo appears. The announcer says "We'll be right back to As Told by Ginger, on Nickelodeon.".
	"Polka Dots and Bars" (BTTS)	Same as above, but one of the melon dots were replaced by the thistle dots, the white background was replaced by the pale purple background, and the melon bar was replaced by the orchid bar (with Ginger's different pose on it), even the "WE"LL BE RIGHT BACK" word was replaced by the "NOW WE'RE BACK" word. The announcer says "Now we're back to As Told by Ginger, on Nickelodeon.".

The Fairly OddParents

	"Rectangles" (WBRB)	In the light pink background, Timmy, Cosmo and Wanda appeared in the rectangles, now they poofed into the words that reads "WE'LL BE RIGHT BACK". The announcer says "We'll be right back to The Fairly OddParents, on Nickelodeon.".
	"Rectangles" (BTTS)	Same as above, only the words that reads "NOW WE'RE BACK" and the banner of the show's name is at the left. The announcer says "Now we're back to The Fairly OddParents, on Nickelodeon.".

The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius

	"Gears" (WBRB)	In the light blue background with gears, silhouette of Jimmy's head and various ones, we see the images of Jimmy, Cindy and Sheen with flying robot and Ultra Lord, followed by Jimmy in the orange square with a outline of Goddard. The announcer says "We'll be right back to Jimmy Neutron, on Nickelodeon.".
	"Gears" (BTTS)	In the light blue background with Jimmy's symbol, Jimmy's brain with the words that reads "THINK, THINK, THINK" (a homage to a "brain blast" gag from the show), silhouette of Jimmy's head and various ones, we see the images of Carl, Jimmy and Goddard, then Goddard appears in the green square with a outline of Jimmy. The announcer says "Now we're back to Jimmy Neutron, on Nickelodeon.".

Rugrats

	"Bouncing Balls" (WBRB)	In the blue background with wacky-shaped squares, the balls are bouncing when the background is changing to dark blue and showing the characters in the squares, while the announcer is saying "We'll be right back to the Rugrats, on Nickelodeon.".
	"Bouncing Balls" (BTTS)	Same as above, but the beginning has the light blue background with wacky-shaped squares and four spots as the ball goes left. The announcer says "Now we're back to the Rugrats, on Nickelodeon.".
	"Puzzle Pieces" (WBRB)	In the blue background, it shows the moving puzzle pieces of Tommy and Dil, along with the mistaking words and the Nick logo, while the announcer is saying "We'll be right back to the Rugrats, on Nickelodeon.".
	"Puzzle Pieces" (BTTS)	Same as above, but Tommy and Dil are replaced by Phil and Lil, while the announcer is saying "Now we're back to the Rugrats, on Nickelodeon.".
	"Orange and Green" (WBRB)	We see the characters are moving up and down in the orange and green backgrounds as Angelica appears in the Nick logo, while the announcer is saying "We'll be right back to the Rugrats, on Nickelodeon.".
	"Orange and Green" (BTTS)	Same as above, but Angelica is replaced by Susie, while the announcer is saying "Now we're back to the Rugrats, on Nickelodeon.".
	"Zooming Characters" (WBRB)	In the background of scrolling blue bars, we see the characters of the series are zooming to the viewers, while the announcer is saying "We'll be right back to the Rugrats, on Nickelodeon.". At the end of the line, Tommy is zooming at the left.
	"Zooming Characters" (BTTS)	Same as above, but only the poses of the characters are different and Tommy is replaced by Chuckie at the left side. The announcer is says "Now we're back to the Rugrats, on Nickelodeon.".
	"Blue Background" (WBRB)	In the blue background with the show's name, we see Tommy (with the orange shadows inside) moving forward to the left, while the announcer is saying "We'll be right back to the Rugrats, on Nickelodeon.".
	"Blue Background" (BTTS)	Same as above, but Tommy is replaced by Chuckie at the left. The announcer is says "Now we're back to the Rugrats, on Nickelodeon.".

Doug

Invader Zim

Hey Arnold!

	"Red Background" (BTTS)	Same as above, but the uncolor versions of Gerald and Helga are having their different poses. The announcer says "Now we're back to Hey Arnold, on Nickelodeon.".
	"Brick Wall" (WBRB)	In the brick wall with Arnold on it, we see the show's characters that zooms in and out, while the announcer says "We'll be right back to Hey Arnold, on Nickelodeon.". At the end of the movement, Gerald ripples for the point.
	"Brick Wall" (BTTS)	Same as above, but Arnold is in the back of the background, while the announcer says "Now we're back to Hey Arnold, on Nickelodeon.". At the end of the movement, Helga ripples for the point.
	"Shaking Papers" (WBRB)	In the red background with paper tears, the flashing images of Arnold appears in 3 times, while the announcer says "We'll be right back to Hey Arnold, on Nickelodeon.".
	"Shaking Papers" (BTTS)	In the blue background with paper tears, the flashing images of Gerald appears in 3 times, while the announcer says "Now we're back to Hey Arnold, on Nickelodeon.".

Rocket Power

	"Puzzle Pieces" (BTTS)	Similar to the puzzle-themed Rugrats bumpers, but the background is cloudy yellow, the puzzle pieces of Sam and Twister, and the words are altered moving instead of mistakes. The announcer says "Now we're back to Rocket Power, on Nickelodeon.". Also at the end, the Nick logo jumps in at the end.
	"Spiral" (WBRB)	In the green spiral background with the show's name, we see Twister and Reggie are spinning around, while the announcer is saying "We'll be right back to Rocket Power, on Nickelodeon.".
	"Spiral" (BTTS)	In the pink spiral background with the show's name, we see Twister (now he's skateboarding) and Reggie (now she's snowboarding) are spinning around, while the announcer is saying "Now we're back to Rocket Power, on Nickelodeon.".

CatDog

	"CGI Noses" (WBRB)	In the orange background, it is giving you flipping boards of CatDog, then the CGI noses of themselves pops in, while the announcer is saying "We'll be right back to CatDog, on Nickelodeon.".

	"Toonywood Squares" (BTTS)	Same as above. The announcer says "Now we're back to Tiny Toons, on Nickelodeon.".
