Ramona is one of the main protagonists in the Under the Boardwalk film. She is depicted as an 18-year-old sea crab who meets Armen, while on summer vacation in New Jersey. They fall in love, but their relationship intensifies the existing rivalry between the land and sea crab communities. She is voiced by Keke Palmer.
Ramona is characterized by her desire to escape her overbearing mother, Val, who expects perfection from her. During their journey to return home after being swept away by a high tide, Ramona experiences dehydration and becomes ill. Armen ultimately carries her into the water, reviving her and leading to a resolution of the conflict between the two crab factions.
