Raymond "Ray" Rocket is a Otto and Reggie's widowed, forty-something father on Rocket Power. He is the owner of the Shore Shack, the gang's favorite place to eat. His Hawaiian friend Tito Makani works there with him. Ray drives a vintage 1962 Mercury and has an irrational fear of poodles. His name is a variation on the old German meaning for "protecting hand." After his kids were born, their mother Danielle Rocket died in a surfing accident. He eventually gets remarried to Noelani Makani in the series finale, "The Big Day".
