Milton Teagle "Richard" Simmons (born July 12, 1948 - died July 13, 2024) is an American fitness instructor, actor, and comedian. He promotes weight-loss programs, prominently through his Sweatin' to the Oldies line of aerobics videos and is known for his eccentric, flamboyant, and energetic personality.
On Nickelodeon, he voiced a caricature of himself in the Rocko's Modern Life episode "No Pain, No Gain", and was once a panelist on Figure It Out.
On July 13, 2024, Simmons died at his home.
