Rocko's Modern Life was an ongoing monthly comic book published by Boom! Studios, based on the Nicktoon of the same name. The comic was written by Ryan Ferrier, illustrated by Ian McGinty, and colored by Fred C. Stresing. The regular series would ultimately only last one issue longer than the previous Rocko's Modern Life comic published by Marvel Comics. A spin-off mini-series, Rocko's Modern Afterlife, would follow in 2019.
- "Rocko, Spunky, Heffer, Filburt, the Bigheads, and the entire cast of O-Town are back, but all is not well. The town is facing a job shortage and Rocko is hit hard. With unemployment and potential homelessness on the horizon, Rocko’s problems are just beginning. But with help from his best friends Heffer and Filbert and his faithful dog Spunky, Rocko is (mostly) ready to take on the world (maybe)."
