Ruby Studebaker is one of the titular protagonists of Nickelodeon and Nelvana's Zokie of Planet Ruby. She is voiced by Bahia Watson.

Ruby Studebaker is a bubbly young girl who is determined to make it big as a vlogger under the name "Planet Ruby". She is friendly to everyone she meets and is always willing to cheer up anyone who feels down. Ruby cares a lot for her peers, but also sometimes feels like she isn't appreciated enough. Before Zokie arrived, she spent most of her time alone since she had nobody to hang out with. She wants to be liked by her classmates but worries that she's too weird - but this doesn't stop her from trying to make friends. She describes herself as a weirdo.
Ruby is always trying to help her dad Stan whenever he needs it, since she always has a way to make any boring task fun. She also constantly gives Earl a second chance, even when he gets her and Zokie into trouble. She tries her best to be independent, she tries to do the roles an adult and wants to figure out problems on her own instead of asking for help.

Ruby is half-Black Canadian with black eyes and brown skin and curly brunette hair donned in Afro puffs tied by mismatched colored rubber-bands. She wears a yellow t-shirt with a purple cat graphic, denim shorts, mismatched colored socks and purple shoes.
